When we think about the word Hydration and Dehydration, it is critical because the English language can be deceiving. The De- hydration is a physical condition. The definition of Dehydration is the act or process of dehydrating, and an abnormal loss of water from the body, especially from illness or physical exertion. Physical exertion is exercise, or any activity that is strenuous and causes the body to lose water. there are many factors involved that can lead to dehydration. The example given is not always related to an underlying condition. It may be due to vomiting and diarrhea, drugs that increase urine excretion, such as diuretics and the common factor Gastroenteritis. These are flu like symptoms related to inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Dehydration oxidizes the nutrients in our food, and their nutrient value is dully degraded.
Lets focus on Hydration. The definition of Hydration is the absorption of or combination with water. In terms of volume, water is our greatest nutrient need, only second to oxygen.
When we cook our food the water is driven out. Ask yourself why is water removed? Water in our foods is vital and definitely not to be considered expendable. Fruits and vegetables are nature's perfect water filters, and the water within them is purest available on Earth. All our water comes from the Earth. Water is our friend, because we are closest to the Earth.
The Holistic Health and Nutrition way of overcoming dehydration is to adopt a natural diet of raw foods. The body can cope with cleansing itself of past toxic accusations and normalize its weight. This is only a suggestion and eating raw foods is not required to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Water is our friend, and dehydration can be prevented. It is good health to drink at least eight-8 ounce glasses of water per day, and especially when your are feeling thirsty. The dry throat sensation is your body telling you to drink water. The recommended intake of water is based on individual needs, this might be due to different health disorders.
